Project Overview & Objectives
ApexPay is a modern cross-platform fintech wallet designed for seamless peer-to-peer transfers, contactless QR merchant checkouts, and on-demand virtual debit cards. Genius Tech Services designed the core mobile architecture from initial wireframes to production release across iOS and Android.
The Challenge
The client's previous hybrid prototype suffered from 4-second cold boot latencies, frequent state desynchronization during offline transactions, and strict PCI-DSS and Apple App Store compliance roadblocks.
Engineering Solution
We rebuilt the entire client application using React Native and TypeScript, backed by microservices in Node.js. Integrated biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID), SQLite-based secure local encryption, and sub-second WebSocket streams for live balance updates.
